The Point Key Details

The Point is a monthly christian youth event held at Park Road Baptist Church, Peterborough.

We can't wait to welcome you and your friends to this monthly gathering!

If you are at secondary school The Point is for you! The Point is run by CROPS in partnership with youth leaders from local churches. It takes place from 7:00pm until 9:30pm and includes worship led by The Point band, a challenging message and an opportunity for response and prayer plus our all new Cafe-Lounge at the end of the evening (with hot snacks & drinks, Point tuck-bar).

All the dates for 2018 -19 are on the download flyer and forthcoming speaker details further down this page.

It's a great place where I've been encouraged in my faith, I just love The Point!

08 DECEMBER - Ethan Smith

Ethan is currently spending his gap year with CROPS. Ethan leads worship, takes part in Viking reenactments and enjoys creating Warhammer (but not all at the same time!). We are excited to be hearing from him on the theme of 'I am who you say I am' - exploring what it means to be known by God and to live in the fullness of who he created us to be.

12 JANUARY - Bob Goody

Bob works for Scipture Union and has been involved in full-time youth and children's ministry since a dramatic conversion back in 2001. His personal goal is to Creatively communicate the Christian message. This goal has led him to work with churches and organisations across the country, and even run the work of Spring Harvest holidays in France.

09 FEBRUARY - Ed Walker

Ed is the Director of the national charity 'Hope into Action' (based in Peterborough) whose mission is 'helping the church to house the homeless'. Ed is an inspiring speaker who has regularly spoken at The Point over the years. We can't wait to welcome him back!
